GLOBECOM 2019 General Chair's Award

The GLOBECOM 2019 General Chair's Award is presented to an individual or team in industry in recognition of an exemplar service to humanity within the vicinity of the conference.

The GLOBECOM 2019 General Chair’s Award will be presented to John Komeiji and his team for the leadership in bringing Broadband access to under-served rural areas in Hawaii, fueling economic development, enabling residents to purchase goods that are not available locally and broadening business, healthcare and educational opportunities.
